Brittas Four Delayed
Originally given as 4th June, then put back to 12th July, Play is now giving the release date for Brittas Series Four as Monday 19th July - a whole week later than planned. SELFISH BASTARDS.
Incidentally, whilst looking for other things to pad out this article, it appears that the Product Enterprise website has disappeared, to be replaced with the usual portal search rubbish. (Product Enterprise being the people behind the Starbug Playset.) Checking the WHOIS, the domain expired on the 24th June.
Ohhhhh dear.
UPDATE (30/6/04): Product Enterprise site now back up. And the domain is now renewed until 24th June 2005. Interestingly, the whois info was last updated on the 25th of this month, so why it went wrong, I don't know...

Fucking web squatters.

Bugger me. That WHOIS site gives out my fucking address!
Posted by Cappsy at June 27, 2004 06:11 PM
Same with all my .info addresses.
You can get your address removed from the public database on any .uk domain - see here for how. I don't think you can do it with any domain that isn't a .uk - things might have changed since I last read about it, though.
Fun fact: I'm pretty sure the whois for chrisbarrie.co.uk gave out his London address. It certainly gave out some address, so I e-mailed him to tell him that it was doing this, and gave instructions on how to remove it. It's now been removed - but did I get a thanks? Did I buggery.

Not that he's bitter, or anything.

I think I deserved a handjob, at the very least.

Damn, my address is on the WHOIS aswell! I can't be arsed removing it though, so if anyone wants to drop down to watch Red Dwarf anytime... ;-)
I can't really see how a DVD could be delayed by just one week, I'd be pretty peeved off if it was Red Dwarf, but I think I could survive an extra week without Brittas 4.
The Product Enterprise website will hopefully be back up! I hope it doesn't mean the company has gone bust and there will be no Starbug for me to play with!

Oddly, the Eureka page still has the old date. But then, that doesn't list any extras either, so it has no worth.

And mine. In fact there are about four different domain names that I've registered for various sites, all of which give my address. Bastards...

Looks like the Product Enterprise website is back up now :-)

I'm not getting it here...
Posted by John Hoare at June 27, 2004 09:10 PM
Me neither.
Posted by Cappsy at June 27, 2004 09:14 PM
That's odd! I've just tried again and it's still working for me.
Posted by Danny Pendleton at June 27, 2004 09:32 PM
Are you sure it's just not in your cache? Try refreshing it...
Posted by John Hoare at June 27, 2004 09:36 PM
Nope, still working! I deleted my cache about 30 minutes ago, so maybe that's why it's working. If not I have no idea why it's working for me and not for anyone else.

Well it's not working for me again today. How odd...

I'm not getting *anything* for the Product Enterprise site now; it doesn't seem to exist at all. Domain now properly lapsed, I guess.
