And this year's award goes to Kate Rees of the News & Star:

"Gregory’s Girl was the springboard to a successful career acting and, more recently presenting. She’s never quite shaken the image of her bopping about on Top of the Pops to Happy Birthday, and it’s not like she hasn’t tried: She was Ray Charles’ object of desire in Red Dwarf, Kochanski; she tried to buy Craggy Island with Father Ted, Jack and Dougal on it; and she even snogged Ian Beale on EastEnders."
