Event Horizon
A couple of bits of events news, then. TOS reports that DJXII has had to sort out an overflow venue. See the article for full details. Don't forget that by law you HAVE to be excited by what secret stuff G&T has planned for DJ; rest assured that it will only annoy a quarter of attendees at most.
In other news: WE'RE FROM THE ISLE OF MAN. News of a memorabilia fair (and the obligatory four course dinner to try and make the event feel posh) that our very own Danny John-Jules will be attending. Sadly, despite giving prices, the news article neglects to mention when exactly the event will be held, apart from: "August". Sigh. We'll keep you updated when we hear any more; tickets go on sale next week.
Oh, and: "90s sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf"? Someone from the Isle of Man not knowing the difference between 80 and 90, there. And for anyone who wants to start an argument about how the statement is technically correct: FUCK. OFF.

Was Doug's email at the last DJ or the one before? It seems so fucking long ago that I can't remember. It simply wasn't fair to hype everybody up like that and then the fucking movie is still a no-show, and de Charles is in Coronation Street, woulda never believed that in one thousand two hundred and twenty fucking seven years.

Last DJ.

I'm pretty sure that GNP were equally hyped and let down, though. When news on The Movie comes along I'd rather hear about it from the horses mouth than be left in the dark because GNP are worried about letting me down.

In deep space items easily hang downwards on chains of course, and people can easily sit on seats suspended on said chains in order to paint the outside of their spaceship.
How about a DJ logo that *doesn't* use the nonsense remastered version of that introduction?
By Warship on 23-05-05 @ 23:42
For some reason I thought the DJ logo this year was a skutter and Mr Flibble. I may well have it confused with last year, though, as I never go.
By Phil on 24-05-05 @ 00:32
Nope. That's *also* a logo.

For some reason, there's, erm, two.

I actually prefer the one of Lister painting. So...you know. Disagree with me.

I'm not keen on either, I'm afraid. Both nice ideas, but I'm not sure the implementation comes off.
Not that I could do any better. There's a *reason* why G&T's logo is just text...

I think basically what everyone's saying here is that the whole Dimension Jump phenomenon is a pile of distended arse.
Am I correct?
By Combledon on 25-05-05 @ 13:07
Why not have a proper one of that skutter EATING Mr Flibble as promised?

You are not, sir.

Well then what is it? And what's everyone going on about?
