"Visionary" "Design" Awards
Bloody hell, Groovetown's updated! For the first time since June last year! With an excellent bit of news, mind - Robert Llewellyn is hosting the fourth annual Visionary Design Awards, which "recognise achievement in accessible web design". The event is being held at The Russell Hotel, on Thursday 2nd March..
This is a double irony, as not only is (as Rick says) the Visionary Design website an appalling call card for accessible website design (I mean, even my sites look better than that. Just), but Robert's own site, whilst having wonderful content, is bloody awful from an accessibility point of view.
Still, whislt G&T is in the mess it's in, I can't get too high and mighty - although I suggest you tune in to us for out birthday in April. Although something's bound to go wrong, isn't it? It always does for us, every time...

I actually really like the Visionary Design Awards site. It's certainly Valid (if only 1.0 Transitional) and damn easy to read and navigate through, if a little basic looking. It's nice.

Interesting...

April? What about
"Saturday, 14 September 2002
Ganymede and Titan opens – and gives brand new meaning to the word “incomplete”."?

Or the fact that "Ganymede & Titan was first launched in late 1999 by Ian Symes, who went under the pseudonym of Ian The Smegmeister."
*tee-hee*

You are, of course, completely correct. But me and Ian tend to think of the April relaunch as the G&T's birthday.
Maybe we should have two like the Queen...

I thought you just made up the birthday depending on when you thought you felt like a redesign.

What validation tool are you using, Cappsy? When I tried with W3C's tool it brought up 53 errors!

So it does! It must have gone tits up since I last checked it on W3C. How strange.

I’ve danced with every girl
And I'm here to save the world
You can't stop me 'cause I'm
Michael Jackson
There is nothing I can't do
Do when danger calls
Just know that I am on my way (know that I am on my way)
It doesn't matter where or when there's trouble
If you just call my name
Michael Jackson
Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me
When you wanna page me it's okay
I just can't wait until I hear my cell phone ri-i-ing
Doesn't matter if it's day or night
Everything is gonna be alright
Whenever you need me baby
Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me
Doesn't matter where
Doesn't matter when (doesn't matter when)
I will be there for you 'til the very end ('til the very end)
Danger or trouble
I'm there on the double
You know that you always can call
Michael Jackson
Yeaah-hey yeaah-hey
Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me
When you wanna page me it's okay
I just can't wait until I hear my cell phone ri-i-ing
Doesn't matter if it's day or night
Everything is gonna be alright
Whenever you need me, whenever you need me baby
Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me
When you wanna page me it's okay
Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me
