Absolutely Fuck All Going On
Bah. There would appear to be precisely no news at the moment. Sigh. In order to stop the site looking abandoned, here's what scraps of stuff we can find...
Firstly, Groovetown has updated with a couple of Nokia Tongue Tied ringtones - one for the chorus and one for the verse. They join Groovetown's already excellent ringtones section. Ian's ringtone is the theme from Gunmen of the Apocalypse, which causes no end of fun in pubs. Mine is something rather more sensible - the original Central ident jingle...
Next, the second Andy De Emmony directed Canterbury Tales is on at 9:00pm this Thursday 9th October. The Pardoner's Tale is about "three unemployed drunken wasters". If only it was about two, we could make a bad joke about the writers of G&T. Life is harsh for the struggling journalist.
Ah - I think we've just encountered the middle of this article. A perfect place then, to hide my rant about Sci-Fi Online reporting the movie's planned shooting date of May 2004 - posted on the 1st of this month. Wheras, we would remind you, G&T reported on it on September 28th. We wouldn't mind, but everyone from the BBC to Dark Horizons have picked up on it and given Sci-Fi Online the credit. Perhaps understandable from the mainstream SF press, but even Big Blake and someone on ATVRD ignored us. And yes, I realise this is pathetic and stupid. The lesson to learn from all this is keep an eye on G&T for all the latest Red Dwarf news. Big Blake did discover one thing, though - the FAQ on www.reddwarf.co.uk also states May 2004 as the movie shooting date...
Finally, it's not news - but visit http://groups.msn.com/theinquisitorsreddwarfgroup for an online archive of an old fanzine called The Inquisitor. It contains a few gems, including a good article on Red Dwarf Night, and an illuminating Rob Grant interview.
Don't forget - if you have any news that we haven't covered, please send it in. I've added back the contact form which has been missing since the latest relaunch, so it's piss easy now.

That fanzine archive is rather nice indeed.
I'm not complaining about no RD news, however, as a complete set of 'Vic Reeves' Big Night Out' has just landed on my doorstep...

I've found some news! Bizarrely, the local news 'round here had a feature on Clare Grogan and a new film she's going to be in. There'll be details on Groovetown in a mo'.
