Buy a piece of Red Dwarf!
What's that Peter Tyler up to now, then? Why, he's selling pieces of Red Dwarf on eBay, of course! Pete, of course, was the model unit cameraman on the show, so you can guarantee that these pieces are genuine. They're from the ship that was blown up in Demons & Angels, and there's only a handful left in the world. Peter's selling three large pieces on eBay - one, two, three.
You may notice that Peter mentions some smaller pieces in his descriptions, which are in the hands of his closest friends. Well, I've got one of them. Thus I win. Therefore, I can vouch that they are indeed fantastic - just imagine having a bigger one. So, if you've got a bit of dosh to spend (they're already up to funny money), you've got until Sunday to steam in there. At the time of writing, the same bloke is winning all of them - don't let that happen!

'indy_jones' - why bid on all of them?
It always annoys me when people are as selfish and antisocial as that. Isn't one cocking well enough?! Have you not considered that people other than you will want one too?
Greasy bastard. And I say this as someone who has no intention to buy one of these bits. I just get very worked up over tossers on eBay.

Although I agree that the guy is a tosser if I had the money I would probably do the same

That's capitalism for you..., he is probably a collector who thinks he can make money by selling the pieces individually later on.

For something that is that rare, it's good idea. Coz the chances you have of being outbid on three auctions are very small especially at that price.
You'd win at least one, and one is all you'd need
but i'm hoping to god i can bid for it.
It all depends.
Ciao for now

You fucking loony!

I've just read you get some production stills too in the package too. In my attempt to buy some of the other ones before hand I managed to push that other gits price up, too.
I win.

You're mad; some people get theirs for FREE.
Posted by Joey at June 26, 2004 12:46 PM
Thus I win.
Mine was only free because Peter Tyler is the best person who ever lived.

Yes but, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Consider the lilly.
Posted by Cappsy at June 26, 2004 01:37 PM
No! Not "ahhhhhhhh". It's not an "ahhhhhhhh" situation.

No, but ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ahh! Ah.
Oh, fuck.

It's all over! Two for that Indy Jones chap. Gah. And Cappsy got outbid at the last minute by Drumjay. That wasn't very nice.
Posted by Ian Symes at June 27, 2004 07:04 PM
Drum has loads of money and he wants everything, fair enough, but outbidding Indy in one of the other auctions would have made much more sense and not have stuffed me up when Indy is cleary a greedy cunt. Thanks Drum!
Posted by Cappsy at June 27, 2004 07:14 PM
I agree, no fair!

Sorry Cappsy mate :) I just had to have at least one of the peices, it was quite a bit more than I intended to spend, I think I bidded too early which caursed someone else to put my proxy bid up, what I thought was silly was that they were all listed at the same time giving you no chance of bidding on the other 2. There's one thing for sure i won't be selling it for profit 3 months down the road...And anyway i have the best item anyway Ian's signature! ;)

I don't resent you outbidding me - that's what it's all about.
What I do resent is the fact that that other bloke (indy) was left untouched and allowed to buy the other two without any competition from you. If you'd bid on one of the other two pieces then we would have all had one each instead of that greedy son of a bitch getting two.
That's all. But well done, anyway, it's a lovely piece.
