Oh My God, There's James Last!

A photograph of James Last. ORANGE!!!!!!!!!1Yes, OK, this is just an excuse to do a load of Meltdown quotes. Although at least it gives me the chance to say yet again that the episode is brilliant, and anyone who hates it is a fool.

Anyway, just to inform you all NOT TO MISS Mr. Last's 2004 Birthday Tour. The provisional dates he is playing in the United Kingdom are:

DateVenue
Friday 23rd AprilPlymouth Pavilions
Saturday 24th AprilBrighton Centre
Sunday 25th AprilBirmingham Acadamy
Monday 26th AprilNottingham Royal
Tuesday 27th AprilCardiff International Arena
Thursday 29th AprilRoyal Albert Hall
Friday 30th April
Saturday 1st May
Sunday 2nd MayBournemouth International Arena
Friday 7th MayClyde Auditorium
Saturday 8th MayPreston Guildhall
Sunday 9th MaySheffield Arena

"The gentleman of music" is also playing dates in Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg. For details of buying tickets for the UK shows, go to www.ticketzone.co.uk. I personally think we should all turn up to one of the dates and annoy everyone by reciting Meltdown word for word. I wonder if James Last fans can turn nasty?

Meanwhile, his greatest hits album, Gold, was released on November 17th. The perfect Christmas gift for the Rimmer in your family.

If it's good enough for Back In The Red, it's good enough for us

Sorry, but I had the idea for the byline and couldn't resist it. It's the only reason I bothered.

Erm, who is he?

Posted by Somewhat Disarmed at December 1, 2003 09:52 AM

He's that popular '70s Hipster Grace Kelly, of course.

You must recognise him by his clothes - or at least you would if this was an animation of him dancing. Could someone put up a fantastic animation of Grace Kelly dancing please, in these clothes?

He was in the episode Meltdown wearing different clothes (can somebody confirm they were on top of these clothes?). He played Elvis, and said "Thang'kyou very much".
