Top Ten TV: Sci Fi Repeated
At last! We've been waiting for a repeat of this program for ages. Top Ten TV: Sci Fi is on at 12:20am this Thursday night (emotionally) / Friday morning (technically), on Channel 4. Presented by Tom Baker, Red Dwarf features - but we won't tell you where, in case you haven't seen it and don't know. I did watch it at the time, but can't remember a bloody thing about the Dwarf section; so have no idea whether it's any good or not.
With thanks to Ray Rumkee on NOTBBC's TV & Radio Forum for telling us about it in one of his regular TV reviews.

It's got probably the only post-split instance of Rob Grant talking about Dwarf in it, so it's worth it for that alone.
Doctor Who was number 2 - it should have bloody won!

Yes Star Trek won in the end. I do remember the rather annoying fact that all of the Series I to III clips are in the re-mastered form. Quite a bit of VII and VIII if I remember correctly.

I suppose at that point the standard tapes sent out by the BBC for the show were the Re-mastered version; thank God it's been all but disowned in Britain (not overseas, mind you). No excuse for the Shitcom Story, however.

This seems as good a place to mention it as any:

TV Mistakes Uncovered Uncut on Five this Sunday, 8:30pm. "A rundown of mistakes and bloopers from television shows. Including clips from the Office, Red Dwarf, Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the X Files, Friends, the Simpsons and South Park".
It's a shame that they've found continuity errors in South Park; the series would have had such a strong sense of realism otherwise.
"... and if we look carefully in the background of this scene from Timeslides we can see that Holly The Computer... has a *timecode*! What a smegginghead!"

Very interesting. I *think* it's the first time a Red Dwarf blooper has featured in such a show (asides from one clip in Comic Relief) - but I'm willing to be corrected.
Actually, it sounds a nice collection of clips.

Oh, and: because I work a night-shift, I got confused with my days and thought yesterday was Wednesday. Therefore, I missed the very programme that I reported on.
I'm such a stupid twat.
