A photo of The Triplicator. I bet it doesn't work. The two best items are of course Rimmer's Holoship uniform (I know a certain female who would be very keen to get hold of that), and the Triplicator - we're informed that "One of the trays still contains what appears to be the 'bad' strawberry goop!" I myself would obviously like Kochanski's P.E. kit, but I suspect we've probably run out of hilarious "jokes" in that whole area. People might actually think I'm serious when I say that I really want to get hold of that costume and toss myself off into it over and over and over again until I'm covered in my own spunk, and that would never do.

Incidentally, it's well worth actually visiting the Prop Store website - not only does it has loads of fab pictures of the items from many different angles, but you can also pick up some fascinating trivia...

Presuming that there will be no series 9, that can of coke is a pretty iconic prop, actually. The cheapest 'important' one there, in fact - I'm almost swayed by it. Bah, someone'll snap that up before you can say Ted Rogers.

I wish I had a few thousand quid...

My mother has offered me to borrow the money to buy The Triplicator - but my girlfriend has FORBIDDEN ME. Wah.

(She's right, mind you.)

Are you alright under there?

To be fair, I wanted it for when we live together - and there are far more important things to buy for the house than the cocking Triplicator. If I didn't know she was right, I'd be complaining rather more loudly.

As soon as you bought it you'd regret it, you know. It would only be worth the money if it did what it did in Red Dwarf, which I'm almost completely certain it doesn't...

Yes, but "one of the trays still contains what appears to be the 'bad' strawberry goop"! It's worth a grand just for that!

I'd pay 1000 for Craig Charles's goop.

Posted by John Hoare at October 26, 2003 05:52 PM

Yes, but would you lick the goop?

This conversation has slid beyond redemption. I forbid it to go any further.

Firstly, regarding the 'gloop'... no comment

As your all on the topic of propr, what happened to all of the various Kryten costumes after filming? I presume the masks disitergrated, but what about the rest...?
