Stuff Cribbed From SFX
November's issue of SFX has a couple of interesting little bits in. Firstly, in a rather good article entitled "101 Things to Come", the Dwarf movie is mentioned - giving all the latest rumours (shooting put back until 2004, budget of 12 million, the Sapienoids plot, etc). They did however get in touch with the producer Charles Armitage, who replied "I won't be able to discuss this until the start of next month." Hmmm. I told you it wasn't news, but if it's true, we'll have the details. Or rather nick them from SFX.
This next bit is far more fun, though. On page 22 they have a list of Typical Titles for various SF shows. The three plots given are "Death of a Major Character", "Evil Double", and "Time Loop". For Doctor Who the titles given are The Horror of Death, The Doubles of Doom, and The Terror of the Time-Eaters respectively. And Blake's 7 are given as Death, Double, and Time. Most amusing.
However, in our opinion, the ones given for Dwarf are a bit shit. They are: Death Cubed, Me, Myself and Eyes, and Emit. Now, Emit is actually quite good (you can well imagine it being the title of a Series III ep), but the other two are just rubbish.
Anyone out there got any better ones?

They still have him as part of the team on IMDb I think

You mean for the movie? If so, he's not listed anymore. He's credited only for the characters.

ah right, thats ok then :)

That's not ok then! >:(
I think those other two titles would have fit into season eight pretty much perfectly. :)
Whitehole sort of had a timeloop...could see that being called "Emit"

Matt, are you on your period or something?

no, just sick of sarky arsehole comments when a) you disagree with ppl and b) when u're trying to tell someone whos thought I was replying about the news when it was to someone elses comment

I suggest that if you want to steer clear of "sarky arsehole comments", you avoid using such phrases as "My view, so whats yer problem :P" when nobody has said anything unpleasant to you at all - just trying to engage you in discussion.

Anyway, here's my contribution:
Death of a Major Character - Out Of Time
Evil Double - Me2
Time Loop - Ouroboros
What do you mean, that's not how you play it?

Discussion!? I say summats boring as my view, that I don't like it cos I find it BORING and I get moaned at cos others don't agree. I'm not the one who acts all superior on here believing my view far outweighs anybody elses.
If people can't accept my view I don't think I need to be made to feel bad about it just cos it doesn't run alongside the view of another.
I say whats yer problem as when I disagree I get a load of shit for it. THATS why and its bloody boring getting crappy snide comments.

Yes, but what's that got to do with SFX?

Yes, I love it when these arguments arise. Will inevitably arise, and always about the same thing.
