Bedford Falls
Ahh, lovely. With last April's unforgettable antics still fresh in the memory, The Official Red Dwarf Fan Club have announced, via a mail-out to club members, that Dimension Jump XI will take place at the Bedford Moat House Hotel, Bedford from 11th-13th June 2004. Slightly later in the year than the last one, and right in the middle of my A Levels, but I'm certain it'll be worth the wait.
The weekend is as cheap as chips. If you book before 31st January 2004, it's only 50 for fan club members, and 60 for non-members. Given that it only costs 13 to join the fan club, a Dimension Jump attendee effectively gets four editions of the top-notch magazine for 3. Can't be bad. The hotel rooms are also very cheap - a single room costs a mere 40 a night, whilst a twin or a double room costs 60 and a swanky executive room costs 80. To be honest, I'm not intended to spend much time in my room, so my excellent weekend will cost me a mere 130. An extraordinarily small cost for such a phenomenally great time.
Although the guests are yet to be announced, it's safe to say that there'll be damn near a full complement of cast members (probably not Craig Charles, though), as well as the added bonus of a couple of crew members or guest stars thrown in for good measure. Plus, given that the Movie may be (hopefully) wrapping a few months before, we might just get a sneaky peek at a trailer. Pure conjecture, but it could happen. Only a fool would choose not to go to DJ:XI, mentioning no Drzymalas...
