Canterbury Tales

Following on from the tip-off from the excellent Ruth Latchford (who took advantage of our brilliant new comments system), you may be interested to know that Andy De Emmoney, director of Red Dwarf VI, has directed two episodes of BBC ONE's modern retelling (guh) of The Canterbury Tales.

His first episode, The Wife Of Bath's Tale, is to be shown on this Thursday (18th September) at 9:00pm. It stars Julie Walters and Paul Nicholls, and concerns the various problems of a age-gap relationship. His next episode is The Pardoner's Tale, which is yet to be scheduled, but is listed as the final edition on the website. Starring Johnny Lee Miller, it is a tale of greed, exploitation and power. Marvellous. We'll bring you more schedule details as soon as we get 'em.
