Monopoly Board Pub Crawl
Yes, it's true. On Saturday, 8th November 2003, representatives from BTLi and the Official Webboard will be hitch-hiking down to London on a frozen meat truck, and drinking heavily. Hopefully, we'll end up in a McDonalds on Mimas wearing a crimpelline hat, holding a passport in the name of Emily Berkinstein.
The plan is to find a pub in each of the squares on the Monopoly board, buy a round of drinks and move on. Hopefully, we won't end up going to jail. To chart our progress, we'll be carrying around huge brass top hats, dogs and irons. We'll also be looking for a huge red arrow marked 'Go', as we could do with collecting �200.
The meet is open to all. Indeed, we'll need a large group so we can carry all the lightweights around after the first few pubs. If you're interested in being a part of this historic, and downright stupid, occassion, get in contact with Patrick Gregory or Ruth Latchford. Come on guys, you'll get to meet me!

Brilliant - have a good time. I did it 2002. Be sure to check out some of pubs on the way beforehand if you can (ie a dry run if you can handle that concept), because some of the pubs in dodgy areas tend to come and go - Green Man for instance is recommended in Old Kent Road - forget it the bailiff took everything away... and also the pub in Pentonville Rd is a strip club - so keep your eyes peeled...
