Some Gorgeous Desktop Backgrounds
Oooh, this is just too lovely. Matt Drzymala of BITR fame posted a link to this on BTLi: www.rdwallpapers.kgb.cz. Now, as we know, there are plenty of crappy desktop backgrounds for Dwarf on the net. But these five pages of loveliness... now, that's what you call real graphic design. They're just bloody gorgeous. I especially like this Starbug one, this fabulous recreation of the death of the crew in Back To Reality, this lovely Demons & Angels one, and this, this, this, this, this, and this... Naturally, I will commit suicide immediately.
In other Dwarf site news, Cappsy's frankly revolting poop-smeared hole has been updated; the downloads section has started to be rebuilt. Let's hope that THE NANOBOTS DON'T SCREW IT UP. Currently back online is the How Do They Do That? feature going behind-the-scenes on the special effects of VII, and the BBC Breakfast interview with Craig Charles, Norman Lovett, Danny John-Jules and Chloe Annett. More will follow "very very soon". Mininininininininininininininininininininininininininininininininininini, clearly.
Oh: and I've just seen that John 'The Pomph' Pomphrey is the lighting guy on Watchdog. Hooray!

Cappsy, if you were thinking of putting any of the Spitting Image songs up - I have a set of file upgrades that I've just done, with the proper single/album versions of stuff and in better quality. Seeing as I'm only going to use RealMedia on my Phil Pope site, I might as well give a few of them a good home!

Extremely nice images, We could do with them designing some T.shirts/sweat shirts....

I like the blue ones, but nothing beats a Red Dwarf logo in red, it's amazing how many Red Dwarf t-shirts have been produced over the years, i have 20+ and still haven't got them all, but i agree they should start doing some more right away...

Or effort on RDWallpapers' part :D
Posted by Darrell Jones at February 25, 2004 11:45 PM
that too, but without me, this amazing site would have remained hidden for some time yet :D
I'm not claiming anything on the boys' effort of looking more indepth at the site :D
