Today with Des and Mel Repeat
Just a quick note to say that today's episode of Today with Des and Mel (with Chris Barrie's appearance) is repeated between 2:40 - 3:25am on ITV1 - perfect for those of you who missed it due to CUNTING WORK. I'll record it and give you any important snippets tomorrow.
(I can't be arsed making any hilarious jokes for this one, so make some up yourself in the comments if you want.)

It's signed, incidentally.

Is it worth more signed? :) LOL

I have a little something for anyone who missed it (as I myself nearly did!):

Quicker than something...really quick.

That's really very good indeed.
The RD fansites are back and kicking. Hooray!

Flipping heck (wow I can swear :) Did you have nothing better to do that transcript the whole interview, farts and all. Jeeese Louise (getting better at the old curse words) I had nothing better to do than read the whole thing. LOL
Thanks, I think I might tape it and watch it back at my pleasure.

"The RD fansites are back and kicking. Hooray!"
It really annoys me that I don't have much time to update my site at the moment (and in general) because I really want to make something of it.
I'm hoping that I get into this kick arse college later in the year, which will hopefully give me more time to focus on the site, but I don't want to be repeating stuff found elsewhere. For example - Ian's review of Series III - everything (and more) that needed to be said was said and excellently at that.
I'd type more but my computer's just buggered up.

You can never have too many reviews. G+T's seem to be considered the definitave reviews but they, like any thing else, are opinionated and it's calways good to hear slightly different opinions from the fans. Do what i do and race them to it.

Yes, I'd like to compete in that way but I'm so pressed for time. I'm working on it though...

I used to compete with every other fan site back in the day, probably how TOTAL RED DWARF became so popular :) But now I think that all fansites have something different to give the world of Red Dwarf, and they can all co-exist in harmony.
For Example
TOTAL REDDWARF - lots of info about Red Dwarf, me, and RD events.
G&T - News, Reviews, and lots more
Groovtown - music from the show
Crapola - downloads a plenty
Back in the Red, White Hole, TORDFC, Reddwarf.co.uk are all great sites too, all with different RD infomation on them.
It's actually great to see lots of good sites, than 1 great site and lots of crappy sites.

I'll have to think of something new to offer then. I'm quite good at reporting news, but other than that, I don't have anything unique to give.
Posted by Blake at February 3, 2004 05:26 PM
One's opinion is unique. I recommend writing little articles and columns based on your views; it doesn't have to be on an original topic.

I write this from a public school computer, fully aware (and rather narked) that I am missing Chris Barrie on Terry & Gaby. I did set the video this morning, so providing NTL Digital doesn't crash on me again, I should at least get to see it.
Anyway... a mate of mine was listening to Danny Baker's radio show on BBC London (94.9 FM) this morning and apparently, Mr. Barrie was interviewed regarding Tomb Raider 2 from about 08:00.
I can't comment any further because I didn't hear the interview myself, but thought I'd mention it for obvious reasons.
Oh, and I would've posted this in the Interweb article, but the school filter denied me access due to the highly naughty word "chat."

You might like to know that Chris Barrie will be on the radio tonight in an altogether different interview at 9pm
Posted by Paula at February 5, 2004 01:53 PM
On BBC London?

Hi again.
That mate I mentioned earlier has pointed me to Danny Baker's site where you can listen to the Chris Barrie interview thingy:

Cheers for that, Jonnie T.

He does an excellent impression of Bob Geldof.

Danny Baker: What state is Red Dwarf in?
Chris Barrie: The movie is in development and has been for seven years (chortle chortle)... Doug Naylor's in Australia as we speak sort of doing preparation work for the movie.
