Brittas 3 out next week
Just a quick reminder that Britain's 47th best sit-com (guhh) is to get another of its marvellous series released on DVD. Series Three comes out a week today, on the 19th January. As well as the customary rubbish extras (scene selection, animated menus, stills gallery, biog) comes the now-traditional One Good Extra. And the One Good Extra this time round is a Wogan interview with Chris Barrie. Eureka Video have a knack of coming up with curios like this, which makes up for the lack of interesting rushes footage (for deleted scenes and out-takes) made available to them.
Not promising anything, but if Play live up to their excellent reputation for delivering things early, I should have a review for you on or before the release date. In the meantime, why not browse through our Brittas section, where you'll find an episode guide to remind you which six episodes you'll be getting, and reviews of the first two releases.

I hope they release series 4 and 5 after this. I'm not too bothered about the non-Fegen/Norris ones, but they'd still be nice.
The 9-episode series 5 set would be lovely, of course.
Just one thing - next time they master a DVD, I hope they TURN THEIR FUCKING MOBILE PHONES OFF. There's mobile interference on one of the second series eps for about two minutes. That's not on, that.

I always seem to hear the Microsoft Warning Bleep from Windows 98 on some of my DVDs. By the way, another good dvd out on the 19th, JEEPERS CREEPERS 2.
Im probably gonna get slayed for saying that, but i luved the movie... great stuff!
Oh, and BRING ON THE BRITTAS!!!

There's a great example of a Windows notification chord on the series 1 DVD, during the 'bonus commentary' SotB edit on The End.
I didn't mention this in my article because it was just too damn spoddy even for me.
